The October Compliance Recap as well as two ACA Advisors are available for download from AdEase to send to your clients. The Treasury, Department of Labor, and Department of Health & Human Services recently released two final rules on the contraception mandate exemption expansion. The Compliance team has updated two previously-published Advisors to incorporate information from the final rules.

The first final rule provides an exemption from the contraceptive coverage mandate to entities and individuals that object to services covered by the mandate on the basis of sincerely held religious beliefs.

The second final rule provides an exemption from the contraceptive coverage mandate to non-profit organizations, small business, and individuals that object to services covered by the mandate on the basis of sincerely held moral convictions.
