New and Updated Compliance Advisors Now Available on AdEase

The Compliance team has updated a number of Advisors to incorporate changes in regulation for the coming year. In addition, the Annual Benefit Plan Amounts Card for 2019 is now available on AdEase.

ACA-AdvisorLogo_225x46The Sample Open Enrollment Notices Packet has been updated to include updated language in the CHIP notice on pages 8 - 10.

Nondiscrimination Rules for Cafeteria Plans has been updated to include the 2019 compensation values for defining a highly-compensated employee and a key employee.

The Annual Benefit Plan Amounts Card has been updated to include the 2019 limits announced by IRS for employee benefit plans. Add your logo to this quick reference card for your clients.

The Qualified Small Employer Health Reimbursement Arrangements FAQ has been updated to include 2019 reimbursement amounts.

Clients are starting to receive 226-J letters for the 2016 reporting year, so UBA has updated the compliance advisors for Partners and for clients to help in Understanding Your IRS Play-or-Pay Assessment Letter. Please note that the version titled "Understanding Your Client's IRS Play-or-Pay Penalty Assessment Letter" is for Partner Firms' internal use to understand the process.

The IRS recently released the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) fee for policy years and plan years that end on or after October 1, 2018, and before October 1, 2019. The FAQ about the Patient-Centered Outcomes/Comparative Effectiveness (PCORI Fee Advisor has been updated to include that new information.
