"Live from NAHU" Webinar with NAHU CEO Janet Trautwein on November 15

Posted by: Meg Cipar    Nov 14, 2018

Join NAHU CEO Janet Trautwein on Thursday, November 15, at 12:00 p.m Eastern time for a member-exclusive one-hour "Live from NAHU" webinar. Janet will break down the impact of the mid-term elections and what they will mean for health insurance politics and policy in the new year.

LiveFromNAHUShe will address issues such as:

  • What should we watch for during the lame-duck session?
  • If Democrats take back the House, could single-payer or Medicare-for-All reach the President's desk?
  • How could such a proposal mesh with President Trump's campaign promise to provide "insurance for everybody" and "a lot less expensive?"
  • What will be the major legislative and regulatory concerns driving health policy?
  • What will be NAHU's policy priorities for the 116th Congress and how will they be achieved?
  • How can NAHU members, the overall agent/broker community, and employers get involved?

Dozens of NAHU chapters will be hosting special chapter events to view this session in person. If you will attend a chapter event of the broadcast, you do not need to register for the webinar online. Continuing education credits may be available to members who attend these in-person live broadcasts. For more information, please reach out to your chapter to determine if it will host an event. Please note that CE requirements vary from state to state.

We expect this to be a very popular session, so register now to ensure your place for the live broadcast. If there are several NAHU members in your office, we recommend that only one person register and that you have a "watch party" with your colleagues.

The session is limited to 1,000 participants. If you can't make it or it fills up, the session will be recorded and the presentation and webinar recording will be posted on the NAHU website.
