Winning Business with the UBA Health Plan Survey

Posted by: Meg Cipar    Jun 18, 2019

Listen to a replay of the June 17, 2019, webinar featuring Brian Goff, Managing Partner of Insurance Solutions, in Annapolis, Maryland.

UBA_Logo_HealthPSBrian talks about how he offered prospects the opportunity to benchmark their plans with their peers using UBA Health Plan Survey data, which lead to one-on-one meetings with 14 prospects, one new 250+ life new client and several pending new pieces of business. This case study is a deeper dive into the process Brian recently introduced at the 2019 UBA Spring Conference.

Matt Mochel, UBA Director of Business Analytics, also presented an update on the 2019 UBA Health Plan Survey data collection and the scheduled release of the UBA Health Plan Survey Executive Summary. Matt shared details on the 2020 UBA Health Plan Survey that will be launched in mid-July.

Remember: Participation Required by June 30, 2019

That means there are only 13 days left to enter data for the 2019 Health Plan Survey. The more plans that are entered means the Survey is more valuable to you and your clients as a benchmarking tool.

To enter plans:

  • Log in to the Health Plan Survey portal from the Health Plan Survey page on the Wisdom Network
  • Use the "Launch Reports" button and your Firm's user name and password in the top, right corner of the page to log in to the portal
  • Select Health Plan Survey 3.0
  • In Workbooks, select Book of Business
  • Select Add Edit Data 2019

If all of the submitted plans from 2018 Survey rolled over to the 2019 Survey, we would end with over 16,000 health plans in the 2019 Survey. And If all of the UBA Partner Firms submit 100% of their health plans, it is possible we could break the 20,000-plan threshold! Let’s break through and set the bar higher for 2020!

If you have questions about reporting or data collection for the 2019 Health Plan Survey, please check the user guides and webinar recordings on the UBA Health Plan Survey Wisdom Network page. Contact support@ubabenefits.com with any questions.
