New role will provide training to UBA’s 2,000 benefits professionals in more than 200 offices in 46 states.
[INDIANAPOLIS, IN.], April 17, 2013 - United Benefit Advisors, (UBA) the nation’s leading independent employee benefits advisory organization, announced today that Paul Zumbrook will join the organization as Senior Vice President of Partner Relations.
Zumbrook, who will be responsible for Partner training in addition to Strategic Partner and vendor relations, jumps directly into his new role with immediate visits to UBA’s Indianapolis offices and the Los Angeles area, where he will meet with Partners.
“We are thrilled to bring Paul on board,” said Thomas Mangan, UBA Chief Executive Officer. “His expertise speaks for itself, and his presence bolsters UBA’s reputation and stature in this industry. I’m looking forward to working alongside him.”
Zumbrook’s experience makes him an obvious choice to fill his newly-acquired role. A senior consultant and previously manager and vice president of several health and welfare firms, Zumbrook has been a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist since 1985 and earned an MBA from Pepperdine University in 1989. He also counts a Professional distinction from the Academy for Healthcare Management among his accomplishments.
The past notwithstanding, it is the future – specifically, his future with UBA – that has Zumbrook enthused.
“I am most excited about the potential to leverage UBA’s unmatched collective intellectual capital, towards the delivery of superior proprietary employee benefits solutions across the country,” he said. “My extensive client-facing experience, both with major national carriers and brokers, lends a unique perspective to the powerful value proposition in UBA’s Wisdom Network, and the deployment of shared best practices for both Partner Firms and strategic carrier alliances.”
UBA, the nation's leading independent employee benefits organization with more than 200 offices throughout the U.S., Canada and the U.K., sees the marketplace demand to provide human resource professionals with employee benefits expertise, especially in light of the ever-increasing regulatory compliance issues.
