UBA Health Plan Survey State Fact Sheet Series

Posted by: Meg Cipar    Nov 26, 2019

We continue to add fact sheets for states included in the UBA Health Plan Survey. Now available are Alaska, Hawaii, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, Northern New England, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Most states have a set of three fact sheets, focused on

  • Plan design and costs
  • Industry-specific trends
  • Self-funding

The plan design and industry trends fact sheets are based on the health plans submitted for that state to the UBA Health Plan Survey. Where there are too few plans in a state, only a plan design and cost fact sheet is available. The self-funding reports are regional because there isn't enough state-specific self-funding data to do individual state reports.

Now available:

  • Alaska – only plan design & cost and self-funding due to lower number of plans and lack of concentration by plan type or industry
  • Hawaii
  • Kansas
  • Nebraska
  • Nevada – only plan design & cost and self-funding due to lower number of plans and lack of concentration by plan type or industry
  • New Hampshire
  • Northern New England (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont) – plan design & cost, and industry trends available; self-funding coming soon
  • South Carolina
  • West Virginia
  • Wisconsin

Reports are being produced based on the number of health plans submitted into the UBA Health Plan Survey for each state, with the states where we have the largest number of plans being completed first.

These four- or five-page co-branded brochures compare the state's health plan trends to the national, regional, and industry trends identified in the 2019 UBA Health Plan Survey Executive Summary. Here's another great way to pique your clients' and prospects' interest in the survey and come to you for more in-depth benchmarking that only you can provide.
