Unlike previous years, when all programs had to be entered in a short survey window, you now have the ability to enter your programs into the Health Plan Survey as they renew throughout the year. When entering program data into the 2020 UBA Health Plan Survey, please keep these important points in mind:

• The 2020 Health Plan Survey is for programs with effective dates from 7/1/19 through 6/30/20
• Programs that were entered into the 2019 UBA Health Plan Survey by 6/30/19 are available for renewal in the 2020 UBA Health Plan Survey
• Entering your programs as they renew is the best way to remain in compliance with the Health Plan Survey submission requirement of the UBA Partner Firm Agreement

The sooner you enter your plans, the earlier reporting based on 2020 Health Plan Survey data can begin. The exact availability of 2020 Health Plan Survey reporting will be based on both the total number of plans entered and the distribution of the dataset across industry, geography and group size to ensure consistent reporting ability. A survey scorecard is available in the 2020 Health Plan Survey to track the contributions of individual Partners and the total number of contributed plans.

You can still enter and edit 2019 Survey programs by selecting 2019 from the Survey Year list on the Add/Edit Survey Data dashboard. You will be able to enter and edit 2019 programs until 6/30/20. When entering 2020 programs, be sure that you've selected the correct survey year.

The August Health Plan Survey webinar will focus on our 2020 data collection, providing an update on the data collection process and changes to the survey form that will be informative for both new and veteran UBA Partners. Matt Mochel, UBA Director of Business Analytics, will walk through all you need to know about editing and entering health plan data in the new 2020 survey. We encourage everyone using the survey to take this opportunity to become familiar with the enhancements and differences from the 2019 UBA Health Plan Survey data entry system.
