UBA Health Plan Survey Progress

Posted by: Meg Cipar    Jun 10, 2019

Thank you for your continued push to get as many plans entered into the Health Plan Survey as possible. We're now at over 10,000 plans and climbing. Your continued participation will have an immediate impact on enhancing our reporting capabilities and ensuring that the UBA Health Plan Survey remains the premier benchmarking resource in the industry.

UBA_Logo_HealthPSWith the adoption of our continuous data collection model, we are able to provide access to reporting for the current survey year months earlier than was previously possible. As additional programs are entered, expanded and updated information will be available each business day and client-specific reports will be available the next business day after their programs are entered for the current survey year.

Participation Required by June 30, 2019

That means there are only 20 days left to collect data for the 2019 Health Plan Survey. Remember that when you enter plans, you can take advantage of these important benefits:

  • More than half of the data from 2018 plans can be rolled over into the 2019 Health Plan Survey using the survey input tool.
  • Plans entered prior to 6/30/19 (for program effective dates 7/1/18 to 6/30/19) will be available for renewal into the 2020 Health Plan Survey
  • Plans entered prior to 6/30/19 will be included in the analysis for our annual Health Plan Survey Executive Summary report to be released at the 2019 Fall Conference

If all of the submitted plans from 2018 Survey rolled over to the 2019 Survey, we would end with over 16,000 health plans in the 2019 Survey. And If all of the UBA Partner Firms submit 100% of their health plans, it is possible we could break the 20,000-plan threshold! Let’s break through and set the bar higher for 2020!
