The UBA Compliance Summit will be held May 20-21, 2017, at the Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois, paralleling the UBA Spring Conference, which attendees can also register for and attend.
The UBA Compliance Summit is $500 per person and limited to a maximum of 85 participants. Early registration is highly recommended in order to ensure a place in the program. Once you register, payment is due in the form of a check, payable to United Benefit Advisors, by April 30, 2017, and should be mailed to UBA at 280 East 96th Street, Suite 250, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
UBA Compliance Summit Details
There will be a total of 10 sessions, with multiple small group roundtables and presentations covering:
Plan documents: the basic requirements of health plan documents and summary plan descriptionsMEWAS 101
Self funding 101 and self funding compliance concerns
Nondiscrimination rules under:
- Section 1557 of the ACA
- HIPAA
- Section 105 of the Internal Revenue Code
- Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code
During the roundtables, all attendees will be divided into small groups and given an opportunity to discuss and digest what they just learned. All sessions will be taught by licensed attorneys.
