Small to Mid-Size Employer Guide Released

UBA’s Compliance and Human Resources departments have worked together to create a reference guide for small to mid-size employers on the basic federal regulations they should be aware of. The guide covers regulations relating to health and welfare plans as well as human resources, and includes information about the federal agencies that enforce the regulation.Cover

For regulations that are applicable based on an employer’s size, the guide explains the count methodology the employer should use to determine if the regulation applies to them. Basic information relating to compliance of these regulations is provided, and when applicable, additional resources are provided.

The guide also includes an index to all of the listed regulations for quick reference.

The guide is available to download as a single publication (federal regulations are listed in order by employer size, the guide leads with regulations applicable to all employers with more than one employee) or as individual fact sheets for each regulation listed.
