We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2019 Health Plan Survey. You can now enter your 2019 health plan data (program effective dates 7/1/18 through 6/30/19) into the 2019 Qualtrics data entry portal.

Please enter your 2019 health plan data by June 30, 2019, so your information can be included when we create our annual reports. However, the sooner you enter your plans, the sooner benchmarking and reporting will be available for prospecting and client specific reporting. We also encourage you to attend our survey training sessions beginning the week of March 4 designed to help both new and experienced users.

2019 Survey Data Entry and Editing

Based on feedback provided by the Partners and enhancements that were identified with the 2018 data entry portal users, we have made significant improvements to make your experience better and the data collection more accurate. The following are just some of the features that are important to note when entering new plan data.

• Renewal Functionality – Programs available in the 2018 Health Plan Survey (prior to 2/21/19) can be renewed in the 2019 Health Plan Survey. The renewal functionality carries over approximately 60% of survey responses to reduce the effort of survey entry.
• Continuous Data Collection – Beginning with the 2019 Health Plan Survey, we plan to provide continuous access to submit program information into the current health plan survey. Please incorporate Health Plan Survey data entry as a part of your renewal process. Entering your program data when the program renews is the best way to improve survey accuracy and improve our reporting capabilities.
• Ability to Edit – Surveys submitted will be available to edit through your Book of Business dashboard on the next business day, allowing for survey corrections to be made and improving overall data quality.

How Does Entering Data Early and Often Help You?

The sooner you enter your plans, the earlier reporting based on 2019 Health Plan Survey data can begin. The exact availability of 2019 Health Plan Survey reporting will be based on both the total number of plans entered and the distribution of the dataset across industry, geography and group size to ensure consistent reporting ability. Please enter all placed programs from the current survey period (7/1/18 through 6/30/19) and continue to enter new data as you place new programs. A survey scorecard is available in the 2019 Health Plan Survey to track the contributions of individual Partners and the total number of contributed plans.

Will There Be Training and Support?

For Partners new to the survey and those who want to learn first-hand about the enhancements to the data entry portal, we will be conducting a series of training webinars and live presentations at the 2019 UBA Conferences. The first training webinar will be conducted by Matt Mochel, UBA Director of Business Analytics, who will provide participants with an overview of the new survey features. Future training webinars will be conducted by your peers, who will demonstrate how they use the survey reporting tools to present to clients and to win business.
