UBA Welcomes Two New Partner Firms

Posted by: Meg Cipar    May 29, 2019

Please join UBA in welcoming two new Partner Firms to our community of dynamic benefits advisory firms – Mahowald in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and VistaNational Insurance Group in Oak Brook, Illinois.

UBA_PartnerStacked_RGB_200pxWe also bid farewell to 360 Corporate Benefit Advisors, who accepted an offer to be acquired, and Winter-Dent, who became an ESOP, requiring the firms to discontinue their partnership in UBA. We wish these two firms continued success.

Mahowald

MahowaldAs a stable presence in the Minneapolis-St. Cloud area for nearly 90 years, Mahowald Insurance Agency has always been passionate about serving the community they live and work in.

Mahowald provides commercial risk solutions, employee benefits and personal risk management and insurance, all with the goal of protecting clients from harm so that they're free to create the success they desire. Actively involved in the community, Mahowald partners with United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, Kids against Hunger, and more.

Four years ago, their leadership model changed to include non-family ownership, demonstrating their desire to ensure the firm's financial security. "By having a perpetuation plan that extends out to their employees, Mahowald brings the type of leadership and stability that allows UBA Partner Firms to grow, stay independent, and share their success. This makes Mahowald an ideal UBA Partner," says UBA President Peter Weber.
