On January 21, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear the court case challenging the ACA's constitutionality. This means the case is going back to the U.S. District for the Northern District of Texas for further analysis. Our Advisor Status of Court Case Challenging ACA Constitutionality has been updated to reflect this and a co-branded email was sent to all Partners.
The Play-or-Pay Penalty and Counting Employees under the ACA has been updated to reflect the new poverty line guidelines. An extra Q&A 116 has been added to address what happens when an employee's pay falls short of paying for benefit elections.
The Update on Tri-Agency Final Rules on HRAs Advisor has been updated to make a small correction in the first paragraph of the section titled "Premium Tax Credit" on page 10.
