We are excited to announce that Matt Mochel has joined our team to fill a newly created position as Director of  Business Analytics. Matt’s primary responsibility will be to oversee the UBA Health Plan Survey and work closely with Partner Firms providing insight into data and reports for their clients.

Matt brings more than 15 years of focused data analytics experience as a Senior Analyst with Aon Inpoint and prior to that as a Data Consultant for Aon Global Risk Consulting. He possesses deep expertise in conducting surveys within insurance organizations, data visualization, business process improvement, and interpreting data. Matt is adept at interacting with client companies as a part of business operations teams and has served as a resource for SQL programming, advanced Microsoft Excel based analysis, Tableau, IBM Cognos, PowerPivot, and MS Access.

Matt is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana, Illinois, with Bachelor of Arts in Finance with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance, and holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. He is a Chicago native, enjoys inline skating, and spending his spare time with his children and spouse enjoying all that the city has to offer.

Matt will also be assuming the responsibilities previously performed by Robert Black, Director of IT, who has chosen to pursue other career opportunities. Robert served UBA Partners since 2015 in several capacities as a technical resource for IT programs including the UBA Health Plan Survey and the UBA Communities. We wish Robert continued success in his new endeavor.
