Dear UBA Members,
Words cannot adequately express the gratitude that I felt when I read all of the lovely things you had to say about Dave and all of the fun memories. Since it took me more than two months to reply, I hope you don’t think it is because I don’t appreciate both the sentiments and the very nice iPad you sent me. The truth is that it was just too painful at first to read through them, and then it was really hard to put into words how much I appreciate all of your kind words. As important and dear as he was to all of you, I do hope you know that you were just as important and dear to him. He was so proud of UBA and of all of the members who made it such an excellent organization.Your stories and comments are all are genuinely appreciated by our children and me. We have really enjoyed reading the kind words which you shared with us.
He was a very sweet, funny and wise person and he’ll be missed by everyone whose lives he touched. Thank you again for your kindnesses, and I truly hope you all have a lovely Christmas.
